Two for One

Is there some reason we consider mummies and zombies to be different monsters? How are they not the same thing?

Ok, sure, there are some characteristics that are specific to mummies: organs removed, ritualistic burial practices, a prefigured physical tie to the afterlife. Sure.

But, I’m not sure those specifics are enough to differentiate one walking corpse who hates the living from another walking corpse who hates the living.

Is this a geographic thing? Is it based on moisture content?

It’s important questions like these that keep me too busy to invent that perpetual motion machine.
